Vespa Primavera Sean Wotherspoon is a special and limited edition that expresses all the creative energy of both Vespa and Sean. On the steel body of Vespa Primavera, Sean creates a new style for the young urban tribes, but one with a capacity to win over a much wider audience. Sean gives Vespa style elements a vintage contemporary twist in what is his trademark manner. He does this by drawing on his love of everything old school, using a kaleidoscopic mix&match approach rooted in the ’80s and ’90s.

Tom, our Service Manager, recently welded up a nice display to show people what horns are available for their scooter. You can go loud, or stupid loud. Having a loud horn on your scooter can have a big impact on your safety, especially in the winter when visibility is limited for drivers around you. Second Annual Winter Riders Challenge

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! 2019 is coming to a close, Winter is right around the corner, and our most highly anticipated riding challenge of the year is back; the second annual Winter Riders Challenge!

What Is It?

The rider* with the most miles ridden between December 21st, 2019 and March 19th, 2020 will receive a $100 store credit. The rider who places second will receive a $50 store credit.

There will be a category for scooters 50cc and under, and a category for scooters above 50cc.

*Last years winners can participate, but are not eligible to win. We want to give other riders a chance to win, and since last years winners were so far ahead of the competition, they would most likely win again this year.

How do I get signed up so I can beat everyone?

Simply stop by Vespa Portland on Friday, December 21st, 2019 to have your odometer checked and recorded. Or, if you can’t make it in, send us a picture of your odometer on either Facebook Messenger or Instagram. You can start the challenge after December 21st if you choose, but you’ll be starting at a disadvantage.

How do I track my progress?

As often as you’d like, check in with us to have your total miles updated. You can either stop by Vespa Portland or send us an updated photo on Facebook Messenger or Instagram. We’ll post standings periodically throughout the winter to show who is on top!


Final odometer readings must be given to Vespa Portland by March 19th, 2020 to be counted toward the final mileage totals. Due to the nature of the competition, no grace period after March 19th can be allowed.

No purchase necessary. The competition is open to all modern and vintage scooter riders in the Portland, OR area.

While enjoying this friendly yet likely chilly competition, please note that we do not recommend anyone ride in snowy or icy conditions and that caution should be exercised while riding in cold conditions in general. Vespa Portland is not liable for any damages or injuries that may result from participating in the Winter Riders Challenge.

Vespa Portland staff will also be riding in the competition but are not eligible to win.
