The new GTV embraces the travelling spirit of the famous “vespone” with a brand-new livery and look that emphasizes its sporty personality, in a striking combination of modern, classic and intrepid.

DESIGN THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

The instrumentation is connected to the distinctive tubular handlebar using an original cantilevered bracket and is encased in a fierce-looking top fairing inspired by the racing world.

The rear part of the single-seat, two-tone saddle is installation-ready for the optional-accessory hard cover that matches the body.

Its racing heritage can be seen in the design of the five-spoke wheels in matte black with a splash of orange on the channel.

HIGH-TECH FEATURES FOR EASY RIDING

The headlight cluster is full LED and instrument panel is entirely digital, giving you access to a host of trip data which you can also view on your smartphone if you add the Vespa Mia connectivity system as an optional accessory.
With keyless ignition and a handy built-in USB port as standard features, this is a practical bike designed for everyday ease of use.

POWER THAT IGNITES EMOTION

The 300-cc single-cylinder HPE (High Performance Engine) ensures the Vespa GTV delivers gritty performance. With four-valve timing, liquid cooling and electronic fuel injection it offers up to 17.5 kW (23.8 hp), making it the most powerful engine ever fitted on a Vespa.

SAFETY

The new design of the Vespa GTS Super Tech increases handling and safety through features such as improved suspension, ASR traction control, ABS and 12-inch wheels fitted with front and rear disc brakes. This winning combination ensures a comfortable, stable ride, even at higher speeds or on uneven surfaces.

New Front Suspension System
The technical equipment of the Vespa GTS Super Tech adopts a new suspension which, while maintaining the classical single arm with pin pulled, in the Vespa tradition, has been totally redesigned in order to reduce frictions during run, offering comfortable and stable riding experience even on the bumpy road and at high speed.

Rear Suspension System
The technical layout with dual hydraulic shock absorbers, with coil spring and preload with 4 position height adjustment, is confirmed.

ABS
Piaggio was the first worldwide company to introduce advanced active safety systems such as ABS & ASR on a scooter, now available on the GTS Super Tech range. ABS. Each wheel is equipped with a detection system (a sensor and a phonic wheel) that instantly measure speed and deceleration. The sensors communicate with a hydraulic control unit with two channels that activates the ABS system if one of the wheels decelerates quickly relative to the vehicle, avoiding locking and ensuring stability and efficient braking.

ASR (Anti Slip Regulation) uses the ABS electronics and sensors to compare the wheel speed rotation of the two wheels. When the sensors detect the rear wheel speed exceeds that of the front, the control unit intervenes cutting the engine toque by spark advance reduction and, if necessary, also on the injection system to prevent slippage and prevent loss of vehicle control. These solutions put Vespa on the top level regarding safety and technology.
